Terms and Conditions

We are pleased that you will be attending the Digital Identity Summit 2018. The event is located at Les Salons Hoche in Paris, France and will take place from May 14-15, 2018 (the “Event”).

Cancellation

Please send any information regarding cancellations via email to info@digitalidentitysummit.com by April 14, 2018.

Substitutions

If you know you cannot attend the Event, you can transfer your Event pass to someone else until May 10, 2018. To transfer your pass, send an email to info@digitalidentitysummit.com by May 10, 2018. No substitutions will be allowed after May 10, 2018.

Photography, Audio, and Video Recording

The Event is held in a public space. We don’t prohibit participants, sponsors, news organizations and other companies from photographing, capturing video or audio taping Event activities. We reserve the right to use all images, videos and audio files taken at the Event that include participants, including yourself. By attending the Event, you consent to having your image, voice, likeness and/or presentation recorded. We reserve the right to use such images, recordings and videos without notice or compensation. Such recordings might include content or material that is protected by copyrights, trademarks, or other rights in which ThreatMetrix owns or licenses. Participants are not allowed to copy, reproduce, publish, or distribute any photographs, videos or audio files taken at the Event for commercial use without ThreatMetrix’s express prior written permission.

Badges

As an Event attendee you’ll be walking around wearing a conference badge. You may be asked to present or scan your badge at various sponsor exhibits and/or session rooms. Badge scanning is optional. When your badge is scanned by sponsors during the Event, you’re opting in to receiving communications from that entity. You will be subject to their communications and privacy policy and will have to opt out with them directly if you later decide to do so.

Offensive Behavior/No Commercial Solicitation by Non-Sponsors

We want everyone to enjoy the Event without being subject to any offensive behavior. As such, the Event organizers reserve the right, in their sole discretion and without refund, to refuse admittance or expel anyone from the Event whom we determine is behaving in a manner detrimental to the Event or to any other attendee. We further reserve the right to expel any individual non-sponsor/exhibitor from the Event if they are reported to be commercially soliciting other Event attendees without authorization.

Code of Conduct

ThreatMetrix is dedicated to providing a harassment-free Event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of Event attendees in any form. Attendees violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the Event at the discretion of the event organizers.

Sponsor Materials

You are encouraged to meet and visit with all of the great companies who will be joining us as official sponsors at the Event. The views or opinions expressed by any Event attendee, speaker or sponsor are not necessarily ThreatMetrix’s views or opinions. All Event attendees, speakers and sponsors are responsible for their own content (including presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online Web content).

Privacy Statement

Your privacy is important, so please see our privacy policy located at www.threatmetrix.com/privacy-policy/. ThreatMetrix may share your registration data with other companies involved in the Event to help improve your experience. Examples of data provided to other parties include, but are not limited to, registration services, hotels, and housing vendors. By providing your registration data, you grant ThreatMetrix permission to share such Event registration data.

Assumption of Risk

Your participation in and attendance of the Event is completely voluntary. ThreatMetrix does not guarantee admittance to any specific event, session or keynote and reserves the right to refuse admittance to any session, keynote or event, at its sole discretion. Unless specified otherwise all events, keynotes and sessions are seated on a first-come first-served basis. You accept and assume all risks of any and all personal injury or damage to your personal property that you may face while attending the Event, and waive any claims against ThreatMetrix relating to such risks.

Unforeseen Circumstances

The Event program schedule is subject to change at any time without prior notice. ThreatMetrix cannot guarantee the attendance of any exhibitor or speaker, or that any scheduled event will take place. ThreatMetrix will not be held liable and no reimbursement will be made, in the event of the cancellation or modification of the times, dates, sessions and/or events of the Event as a result of an event that is beyond ThreatMetrix’s control, including but not limited to inclement weather, earthquake, flood, or other act of God, war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities, riot, national state of emergency, plague, act/threat of terrorism, civil unrest, strikes or other labor disputes, or any other similar or related event which delays or prevents any or all of the Event.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and any disputes arising out of or related hereto, shall be governed exclusively by the internal laws of the State of California and controlling United States federal law, without regard to their conflicts of law rules or the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods.

Venue, Waiver of Jury Trial

The state and federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms. Each party hereby consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts. Each party hereby waives any right to jury trial in connection with any action or litigation in any way arising out of or related to these terms. Each party agrees to the applicable governing law above without regard to choice or conflicts of law rules, and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the applicable courts above.

Relationship of the Parties

These terms and the activities governed hereby; do not create a partnership, franchise, joint venture, agency, fiduciary or employment relationship between the parties. There are no third-party beneficiaries to these terms.

Waiver and Cumulative Remedies

No failure or delay by either party in exercising any right under these terms shall constitute a waiver of that right. Other than as expressly stated herein, the remedies provided herein are in addition to, and not exclusive of, any other remedies of a party at law or in equity.

Changes to These Registration Terms and Conditions

Please be aware that ThreatMetrix may update and change any part or all of these terms at any time without notification. If ThreatMetrix updates or changes these terms, the updated terms will be posted at www.digitalidentitysummit.com/emea/terms-conditions. The updated terms will become effective and binding on the next business day after posting. When we change the terms, the “Last Modified” date above will be updated to reflect the date of the most recent version. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not register for the Event.
