Amongst other things, Bennett has toured the world and has spoken at numerous anti-fraud and anti-corruption conventions.
Chief Technology Officer
Serge Barbe is in charge of driving and implementing technology strategies across Gemalto. He previously served as SVP Payment, Embedded Software and Products (2013-2016) and SVP Payment, Products and Services (2008 -2012), working with all major payment issuers worldwide, and as R&D Director (2000-2008). Prior to this, Serge was part of the Schlumberger management team in charge of the Transit Ticketing System (known today as Parkeon) which he began ex nihilo in 1993. During that period, Serge served all major European transportation authorities (SNCF, Deutch Bundesbah) and several urban transport authorities (RATP, London Croydon Tram) with complex systems that featured IT solutions, embedded systems, electronic ticketing and electronic payment structures.
Serge holds an Electrical Engineering degree from INSA (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées) Lyon.
Senior VP Engineering and Chief Technology Officer
Andreas Baumhof is the technology lead for ThreatMetrix and also an internationally renowned cybersecurity expert with deep experience in the encryption, PKI, malware and phishing. Prior to ThreatMetrix, he was Executive Director, CEO and co-founder of Australian-based TrustDefender (acquired by ThreatMetrix in 2012). He was also co-founder and chief technology officer of Microdasys Inc. where he developed the first SSL proxy and has patents pending in Europe and the U.S.
Chief Products Officer
Alisdair Faulkner is a technology entrepreneur and brings nearly two decades of industry experience to his role leading product management and strategy for ThreatMetrix. He is a noted industry expert in online fraud, cybercrime, identity theft, information security and networking technology and holds several patents in security, fraud and networking. Prior to ThreatMetrix he was founder and Chief Products Officer at NetPriva (now part of Riverbed).
Chief Marketing Officer
Armen Najarian leads worldwide marketing strategy and execution for ThreatMetrix. Previously, he directed the go-to-market strategy for IBM’s $1B portfolio of 100+ SaaS solutions. Armen joined IBM through the $440M acquisition of DemandTec, where as VP of Corporate Marketing he built a modern demand generation engine and repositioned the business supporting a 3x increase in revenue over a 5 year span.

Rinaldo is Head of Fraud Risk and IT Risk & GRC at Commercial Bank of Dubai. He is also currently the vice chairman of the UAE Banks Federation (UBF) Information Security Committee. At CBD his main responsibilities include the overall direction of all information security functions within the bank, also acting as an expert information security advisor to the senior management and the Board Risk Committee. With a strong technical background, Rinaldo is a senior executive with more than 20 years of experience in IT and Information Security.

Vanita is the Vice President of product marketing at ThreatMetrix, the Digital Identity Company. In this role, Vanita leads the strategic vision and go-to-market for ThreatMetrix products and solutions. With extensive experience in strategy, innovation, product management and analytics within the payment industry, Vanita previously led merchant development and global go-to-market for Visa’s digital products. Prior to Visa, Vanita held a range of diverse positions at some of the world’s leading financial institutions including Capital One, Standard Chartered Bank and ABN AMRO Bank.
Vice President, Field Operations
Pascal leads EMEA and APAC sales and customer services as well as worldwide channel sales. As a serial entrepreneur, he brings 20 years of international experience to his role, most recently as CEO of Compario software. Pascal also served as COO of blueKiwi, and has held senior management positions at Blue Martini, Vignette, i2 Technologies, PeopleSoft and ADP/GSI.

Andrew Renshaw has 16 years of experience working in financial services for some of the largest U.S. and UK-based banks including Capital One, Citibank and Lloyds Banking Group. At Capital One, he served as director of fraud analysis for Capital One UK. At Citibank, he was responsible for the integration of numerous fraud platforms. Now in his seventh year at Lloyds Banking Group, he currently heads up their fraud and customer experience areas within the Group Digital area. He is responsible for the strategic direction and daily execution of fraud layers within Group Digital including mobile banking, device ID, biometrics, malware prevention, and risk engine monitoring in order to protect over 14 million retail and commercial digital customers.

Reed Taussig has more than 30 years of experience in the computer hardware and software field. Prior to joining ThreatMetrix, Mr. Taussig was president and CEO of Vormetric Inc., a leader in the data privacy and protection industry. Under Mr. Taussig’s direction, Vormetric established itself as a leading provider of encryption solutions for the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Mr. Taussig also served as president and CEO of Callidus Software [NASDAQ:CALD], the leading provider of enterprise incentive compensation management application systems. As founding CEO and the fifth employee, Mr. Taussig led the growth of company to more than $70 million in revenues and over 350 employees. Prior to Callidus, Mr. Taussig was the president and CEO of inquiry.com, a pioneer in the B2B Internet space as well as senior vice president of operations for Gupta Technologies, the leader for PC client server software development tools and databases. Mr. Taussig holds a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Arizona.

He is a frequent author and speaker on the subjects of e/m-commerce, payments innovation, and the global marketplace for payment acceptance. He is recognized by clients as a thought-leader with unique perspectives and experience in digital commerce and payment acceptance.

Ron van Wezel is a senior analyst for Aite Group’s Retail Banking & Payments practice. His research covers market and regulatory trends in the payments space, with a focus on Europe.
Mr. van Wezel is a renowned expert in payments and digital banking. He brings to Aite Group 30 years of experience in product development and innovation, advising clients on a wide range of topics including mobile payments, digital wallets, cards issuing and acquiring, and ACH solutions.
Executive Director – Innovation and Partnerships
Jonathan Vaux is the Executive Director of Innovation Partnerships at Visa in Europe. His role involves working with internal teams and external organisations to identify key technology trends. He identifies opportunities to incorporate these new technologies into the Visa ecosystem to improve the services we offer our members, merchants and cardholders.
Revenue Assurance Manager
Gill has been in the compliance, fraud management and payments business for over eight years. Her experience includes various roles in financial services, mobile aggregation and ecommerce. Gill is currently the Revenue Assurance Manager at Just Eat, an online food order and delivery service. Gill’s primary focus has been on payments optimisation through card and alternative payment logistics and strategy as well as chargeback mitigation. Gill also serves as the co-chair of the European Advisory Board for the Merchant Risk Council, a non-profit organization providing education and networking for payment and fraud professionals.
The Digital Identity summit provides an opportunity to engage with leaders in authentication and fraud prevention. The community atmosphere and rich content presented at the summit are a great platform for discussing the trends, challenges, and innovations affecting the payments industry.
